FocusGenix – Pomodoro Timer, Study Log and 60-Day Roadmap
About This Project
Overview FocusGenix helps you study with focus and see your progress over weeks, not just one session. A small floating timer sits on your screen, and the app keeps a log of every study session. You can load your own 60-day roadmap and later check how you really did. It is free, offline, and keeps your data only on your PC.
Key Features
Pomodoro timer with focus and break sessions
Small floating pill that stays on top, can be dragged anywhere, and works even with a full taskbar
Hover over the pill to see the current topic title
Study log with date, topic and time, including add time for a past period (from–to)
60-day roadmap: add your day-wise plan and tick off topics
Reports and charts for your progress and analysis
Runs in the background from the tray and can start with Windows
Export the log and roadmap
Technical Highlights
Native C# with a per-pixel transparent layered window for a clean, smooth pill edge
Timer state is saved, so it continues after a restart
Small single exe (about 125 KB), light on CPU and memory
Data saved locally in simple files on your PC
My Role I designed and built this tool end to end, from the idea and UI to the Windows build and release packaging.
Outcome Useful for students and self-learners who follow a long plan, such as a 60-day roadmap, and want honest data on how they studied.
